ABOUT LUCA FIORILLO
I am a composer and researcher in the field of technologies related to sound and art.
Since 2014 I have been studying and researching the physics of sound, music composition, audio signal post production technologies. My works are concentrated in the field of conventional music and in that of unconventional music, therefore acousmatic and musique concrete. I focus on topics such as space, the semantics of sound and the function that music has in human beings. I am fascinated by the neural response that controlled vibrations have on people, I believe this is the key to giving musical composition the tools to stimulate the imagination and the phenomenon of touch in an abstract sense.
I have been studying music theory and practice since 2007, I am a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist.

I have participated in several festivals in Italy over the years including:

I have composed and soundtracked music for various film lengths, of which I have received nominations and awards as best composer of soundtracks.

I have a degree in audio technologies and have been teaching composition and post production since 2016.
